About the Role
TalentPop is a leading Customer Experience Agency that provides fast-growing e-commerce brands with a full-service solution for their Customer Service needs. Our Customer Experience Team is rapidly expanding, with over 500+ E-Commerce clients (and counting). We are currently seeking skilled and motivated Security Operations Specialists to join us. In this role, your expertise will be crucial in strengthening our digital landscape. As a key member of our Security operations team, your responsibilities will include user provisionings, implementing robust security measures, safeguarding the integrity of sensitive company and client data, and protecting our global remote team from potential cybersecurity threats.
Responsibilities
- Provision user account access, install, and configure security tools, and manage access controls on user devices.
- Provide On-Call assistance in setting up and implementing security measures and controls on user devices.
- Implement security measures such as two-factor authentication (2FA), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and IAM solutions on user devices and client accounts.
- Ensure timely and secure access provisioning for new or existing remote team members and facilitate de-provisioning and access removal for departing members.
- Safeguard the security and confidentiality of company and client-sensitive data. Manage data protection policies across the organization and stay updated with industry best practices for cybersecurity.
- Develop and deliver educational materials and training sessions to our community, sharing best practices and raising awareness about cybersecurity.
- Review existing security protocols and identify areas for improvement.
- Make recommendations to enhance security measures and proactively implement necessary changes to strengthen the company's overall security posture.
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents. Conduct periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Support and manage incident response activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve security breaches.
- Protect digital assets and sensitive information by implementing controls to prevent unauthorized access or data breaches.
- Manage day-to-day cybersecurity tasks and proactively identify and address potential security problems and vulnerabilities.
- Address client-specific cybersecurity requirements and requests and collaborate on tailored solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of security processes, configurations, and incidents.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience with user access management, user provisioning, and access controls.
- Familiarity with two-factor authentication (2FA), multi-factor authentication (MFA), password managers, and endpoint protection.
- Previous IT Support, Security Support, or similar experience.
- Knowledge of data protection regulations and security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, HIPAA, and PCI DSS
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Google Cybersecurity Certification, or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a plus.
