The following would be the Recruitment Specialist’s daily tasks and responsibilities: 

  • Vet candidates’ applications by reviewing and evaluating their resumes, experience, cover letters, CS quiz responses, etc
  • Conduct Initial Interviews via Zoom with prospective candidates.
  • Respond to all inbound emails from candidates and other TalentPop Team Members.
  • Manage internal communication TalentPop Team Members in our team communication channel Slack.
  • Develop a fundamental understanding of the softwares’ we operate with which are not limited to ActiveCampaign,, Google Sheets, Slack, Zapier, Hubspot etc.
  • Post Job ads on relevant job boards to find candidates who align with TalentPop and our client requirements.
  • Participate and contribute in Team Meetings
  • Assist with building SOPs and training to help with the new hire training process
  • Work closely with Recruitment Managers and Recruitment Assistants to align recruitment needs



The following would be the requirements for the Recruitment Specialist role: 

  • 1-2 years of Customer Service Training experience
  • 3-5 years of BPO experience in the Customer Service Industry
  • 1-2 years of Virtual Assistant experience preferred
  • Experience/understanding of eCommerce 
  • Familiar with HubSpot, Slack, and other CRM tools. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Possesses exceptional coaching skills
  •  Possesses exceptional planning and organizing skills
  • Has excellent attention to detail skills
  • Someone who is reliable
  • Someone who is a self-starter and can motivate others
  • Someone who is high-energy and can effectively engage with others
  • Someone who knows how to properly communicate through Gmail and Slack.


Internet Requirements:

  • DSL, Cable, or Fiber internet connection is required – LAN connection required (20 mbps minimum). 
  • Back internet connection is required (For backup internet, required speed should be at least 10 mbps).
  • All agents will be required to send the most recent speedtest for Approval for both your Primary and Backup Internet Connections.


Note: If your Internet Connection speed is lower than 20 Mbps or you do not have a backup internet available, you will be required to set this up prior to working with us. Failure to not have a backup internet source is a violation of our internal Policy and may result in termination.
